Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

B3's

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've sold all my skis on ebay since a trip to La Grave. I need to go fat and had a great time on B3's. Whilst they are not the only fat skis in the world, I used them and skiied well, so why mend it if it's not broken.

Question is, where can I get some in the UK? Going to Cham in 4 weeks for climbing, so will check it out there as well

these people will deliver them:

sure you know this, but next year's B3 is more akin to this year's B2

Thanks.

B4!!!!!!! One better than B3!!!!!!!!

Pistols are too soft, the Vicious are apparently good, not ridden them.

Off to Las Lenas in August, looks like B3's for that trip.

That is a concern, Rossi cores aren't the most hardwearing. Still, the guys I am with have a few spare wood core pairs out there.

or B Squad if you're a real toughguy.... although I think they're only available in a 195

maybe it's just me but fat skis in a 168 just seems wrong Sad

Arno, particularly from someone calling Pistols "too soft" - I mean they are compared to a piste ski or some crappy hybrid "all-mountain", but if you want a proper powder ski, (which can also rip on piste, if you're good enough) then I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Given what he wants, perhaps he should get Pocket Rockets Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Mr. Green

I am really struggling with the masculinity of riding 168's. Tempted to push it to 173. Sold a pair of 183 Enemys, great in the open, but in the trees they were just too long.

However, if the poo-poo fits, wear it, and 168's worked for me in La Grave

Potentially. B3's worked, 168 was a good length, so I'll stick with it. I'm 5'8" and vary between 75-80kgs

If you want a stiffer off-piste ski ca 90mm waist then don't rule out the Head Mad Trix Mojo. A 166 is more like a 160 as the turn-up on the tips reduces the running length a lot. The 176 will ski more like a 170 and might suit you better.

Everybody has different tastes, best to demo first.

Arno,
Agree, sounds like a contradiction to me

Look at the 8000 or 8800 type and a min of 175 range.
But if a B3 in 168 or whatever is what is required then go fo it...!!

The advice here is always to ski it yourself and if it works...!!

There is no way you can go wrong with the Dynastar Legend Pros(goog luck finding a pair your size now) or the Dynastar Legend 8800. Both are awesome skis. I f oyu can find the Legend Pro's hands down best ski on the market for big mountain powder freeriding(off Piste)
