Hi all,
Leaving tomorrow am - thought I had everything taken care of but obviously not.....I've forgotten our ski insurance.
I live in Moscow and my other half is Russian so we need to get insurance for her mainly.
Can anyone on this wonderful forum help urgently please?

Russia's not an option with Columbus, I'm afraid.
Also, I'm living abroad and many companies want permanent residency in UK for me to use my British link.
I don't want to lie or bend the truth, even slightly, as the Fitzwilliams won't pay out.

Get insurance from a Russian company? Or the Russian sub of a foreign insurer?

We're flying tomorrow am. No time to go to an insurance office in Moscow and doubt whether I can get one online. Prices vary too quickly for the sites to be available to book on 24/7.
Looks like I've done one for the missus via Bupa on Nomads and one for me on Columbus as they don't require me to have been in the country for the past 6 months.

Actually, in the small print, Columbus needs me to start my trip in the UK, but I'll be travelling from Russia, so that's not an option!

Columbus were fine about me originating from elsewhere - especially as I changed flights at Heathrow - the kicker seemed to be that they'd repatriate the body to the UK. Fine for me obv.
