Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski hire in Sestriere

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We're off to Sestriere mid-jan (hooray - not long to go Very Happy ), staying at the Olympic Village apartments. A couple of us need to hire skis and are looking for which rental shops are nearest the apartments, anyone know? So far the couple I've found seem to be in the centre of the village which I think is a bit of a trek. Advice from those in the know much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, your right in saying that the Olympic village is slightly out of the centre of Sestriere however it is still within walking distance. Once you've picked your equipment up the afternoon you arrive you'll be able to store it at the OV so you can ski in/ski out the rest of week. I run an information website for Sestriere www.sestriere-online.com so please check it out and if you need anything then drop me an email and I'll help where I can. There is also the ability to rent equipment online via the site so please check out our prices. Good news is that we're having a great start to the winter snow wise so you should have a fantastic week. All the best, James.
