Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sitting in Etap hotel at Macon Nord and watching the French TV. Seems like the country has come to a standstill here, trains cancelled and delayed, multiple road accidents and severe weather warnings. Drove down from Calais this afternoon no trouble at all. Roads clear all the way through and Reims bypass is brilliant. Doofer also working perfectly even after changing CC number over the phone. Lucky or what?, but still gotta get to Cluses tomorrow AM, could be skiing by lunchtime.

Good luck to all who are travelling tomorrow.

Nice timing. snowHead I must remember this thread to link for the next herd-following poster who repeats the hoary old mantra that it's only the UK which can't cope with snow. Laughing Someone who hasn't sat for hours on that awful so-called ringroad round Paris when it's at a standstill after half an inch of snow.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We must have been way behind you. Left Calais at 9pm. Took 5 hours to get to Laon - should have been 2. Left there at 8.30 this morning and have driven through some very thick snow storms. On schedule to be at Le Grand Bornand at 4ish having lunch near Dijon and there's 5 inches on the ground here now.
Happy
