rogg,
TimeLine is a project within 4 steps.
first, a serie of webisodes starting tomorrow on our website as well as partner websites, industry and media ( zapiks.com / transworld.com), twice per month you'll get a chance to see backstage of the season of Xavier de le Rue, filming, competing, traveling, camping in the mountain etc...
second, best actions shots will be kept for Standard films and VideoGrass next year videos
and last step, we'll present a 26 min movie including best actions and best moments of the season in next year mountain film festivals
To finally release that 26 min online for free on our partner websites in about a year from now.

Will look forward to following this project.
Xavier is an awesome rider. His segments in Deeper were amazing, and he is clearly the man to take Big Mountain Riding to the next level.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I enjoyed that! For me, it's really interesting to hear/see how shots are planned along with the other snippets of back story. And Xavier is eminently watchable. On the Deeper thread, Arno called him a rock star and I'm beginning to agree

A little off topic but related to his equipment.
His boots, if you check around 2.10 min mark.
You can see the vibram tread on his Deluxe brand, mountaineering snowboard boots in black and red.
These are a 2012 design from Deeluxe possibly a collab with Spark R&D bindings.
The very first production- Mountaineering vibram soled snowboard boot for crampons, climbing hiking, splits, snowshoes, backcountry etc.
Safe bet they will be durable (did anyone ride his boards yet?)
He is leading Jones and all the other boot companys with this special boot, perhaps Snow and Rock might wake up to Rossignol boards one day.

Tirol 164, Yes but they still don't take clip in crampons.
Those Burton Serows you sold me have a Vibram sole ! Great boots by the way, the articulating cuff is so nice for slashing powder turns.
I am keen to get a Rossi Experience board next year. as basically pretty similar to a Jones Flagship (a touch wider as the Jones are quite slim)
My mate is raving about his flaghsip.

Yeh Tirol 164 had me excited for a minute there but still no sign of a clip crampon snowboard boot! Sticking with my Serows too.
The Flagship is just as wide as the Experience so its really just a case of if you want full magna traction or mellow magna traction in my opinion.
