Imagine if we all looked like the indentikit copies Shaun White that currently swarm over the nursery slopes - can anyone genuinely claim that his snowboard kit is less ridiculous than what Chuck and Camilla are wearing? Talk about sartorially challenged!
And let's face it, they're in Balmoral... no one seems to mind them wearing the exact same winter gear here when not on skis!
I'm off to trade in my dull old N.face waterproofs for a 3 piece tweed suit - top drawer!

Or any but the most svelte and athletic cross-country skiers in head to toe Lycra. The lumpier ones, who've chosen purple, look like haemorrhoids. Tweed is infinitely preferable. Weren't the first men to climb Mont Blanc similarly clad? No poncy lycra.
