Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BASI tutors in St. Anton in March ?

Hi all,

Myself and a couple of my other instrcutors are in St. Anton from the 14th March, We are thinking of having a day or 2 with an instructor/Tutor. Are there any BASI Tutors in St. A that week?

I never met any BASI instructors when I was working there, doesn't mean there aren't any though. What's wrong with a local Staatliche though - a lot of them are also Bergfuhrers and run the anwarter course/training for instructors in the Arlberg Ski School? I assure you there won't be a problem with languages/standard of tuition!

scooby_simon, if you're looking for instructor training I guess you want an ISTD / L4. I'm not aware of any ISTDs permanently based there, I don't think there are any British ski schools, but there may be some working for the local schools.

I suggest you contact the local St A ski schools and ask if they have any highly qualified BASI instructors working for them.

Try looking up Tobi Fishel. I don't know if he'll be able to assist but he may be able to make a recommendation.
