Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossi Scratch Bc Split Edge

Hi,

I have a pair of Rossi Scratch BC's that have had a fair bit of use.

The edge around the tail of one of the skis has split, there is a gap of around an inch and a half.

If it worth while getting these fixed?

I read on snow + rock that they do edge repairs for £10 if you get the ski serviced.

Below are pics of the split



I'd like to know if it look fixable or if they're gone!

BlueBird13, take them in and see what they say - asking for an opinion based on a couple of pics is not going to reassure you. Invest in a couple of hours to get them looked at properly.
