Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Pass Days

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi All,

Am off to Courchevel in January and have a question re lift passes. We are there for 7 nights but (becuase of a business meeting nearby) will only be skiing 5 or 6 days.

When you buy a 6 day lift pass, is it only valid for 6 consectutive days or 6 seperate days?....i.e, if I bought a 6 day pass on Sunday, could I ski 3 days, have Wednesday off, and continue to use the remianing 3 days??......or would it expire a day short?

Cheers in advance

Usually it's only 6 consecutive days tho some resorts are offering a Pay-As You Ski scheme linked to direct debit/credit card.

However, as far as I can see, Courchevel is not one of the resorts. Sad
There is a minor saving to be had for Three Valleys passes buying a 2 day then a 3 day pass (against a 6 day), for the Courchevel valley lone 2+3=6 apparently rolling eyes

speedy, co,secutive days. However, many resorts offer a non-consecutive option which is more expensive per day than the regular pass, but cheaper than buying day tickets or two separate sejour passes. Ask at the ticket office.
