Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arinsal Private Lessons

Poster: A snowHead
Can anyone give any recommendations for ski schools or private instructors for an intermediate skier in Arinsal? I'm only going for two days in late December so it looks like I'll have to arrange something bespoke as the schools appear to only offer five day courses. Thanks.

RickyC, If you go into the ski school when you get there they can organise private lessons for you. There are no private instructors in Arinsal as it is illegal to work in that way. I would recommend Marcus Upton, I would consider him to be one of the best in the school. If you want to book lessons before you get there you can also call the ski school on 00 376 737 029 and they do speak English Very Happy

RickyC, The mountain is run by Vallnord. Try http://www.vallnord.com/
You should be able to get your info from there. Alternatively try www.arinsal.co.uk you can get some good info off there.

RickyC, welcome to snowHeads. There are quite a few BASI qualified Brit instructors in Arinsal (both the OH and I have had lessons there). I've no idea whether they may be able to help, but its just possible they may have a list or know which BASI instructors are based out there.

The guy that runs this You Tube Channel is an instructor at Arinsal. He's a really nice guy called Matt.
If you message him on there i am sure he will give you some advice.

Also he keeps you updated every few days with videos of the current snow conditions.
