Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Restaurants in St Anton for New Years Eve.

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

Has anyone got any recommendations for a good Restaurant on New Years Eve?
We're looking for somewhere with a modern setting, good food and atmosphere.

I've found two that look ok.
One is The Museum and one is Ben Venuto. Any one know if these are good choices?

My significant other is a veggie so somewhere that would accomodate her would be great

Cost isn't a problem within reason.

Cheers
Mark

Pickled, both are supposed to be excellent, although I have never been to either. Think Ben Venuto (that is the one in the spa complex right???) has a more modern setting. Both are expensive

Ben Venuto is modern, but I did not like their cooking. Would not recommend it;
The Museum has good, traditional food in a nice but not very modern seting.

Another suggestion would be Raffls in Hotel Antoner Hof. The best restaurant in town.

Just a thought - The Griabli, opposite the Mooserwirt, could be a good option. Overlooks town and good food

Thanks guys.
Will look at Griabli and Raffls, although that one looks like it's only for people who stay there?

Silvester Dinner in St Anton is expensive at all restaurants expect to pay a minimum of €60 per person in a cheap joint !!

Raffls is expensive on Silvester around €150+ per person. I believe there is also a dress code but this may of changed.

For realistic prices & food, atmosphere, fun, music etc. Try The Underground but this gets booked up very early.

The Arlberg Hospiz Hotel in St Christoph is the "piece de resistance" of Silvester Dinners. This cost in excess of €200 for the set dinner. There is a dress code.

Any recommendations for the Hazienda? Website is awful!

I'm not sure it'll be open on NYE, but if it is the Verwall Stube would be something a bit different - it's at the top of the Galzigbahn.

Folk get sucked into the ambience of the joint by its annual makeover but IMO it is expensive & very over rated on the food.
