Does anyone know if this is worth getting? Looking at the website, there would seem to be quite a few places you can use it to get 5-10% discount or a euro or 2 off a beer in resort. This link http://www.snowballpass.com/scgb from the Ski club website lets you get one for a Euro, so cant go wrong (I hope!) Anyone used it before?

i've bought a snowball pass before, but never used it, as i was in "reasonably" priced bars and eateries, and also had other discounted options available to me. i suppose, like anything, it's what you're actually planning on using it for that matters. hth

Thanks guys, I dont think I would bother at £15  but at 1 euro I'll send off for one. We're off to Tignes 6-13 Dec so we'll see. watch this space!

Yes I used it last year, and did get some discounts. For a euro it's definitely worth giving it a go. I've just ordered mine.

I used it last season in Val Thorens.
saved between 1-2 euros per drink, and being away with the boys, that added up to around a 10-20 euro saving per night (each!) - plus the discounts on food too.

BEWARE, if you follow the link above & order you get to put all your payment details in then they send you an email thanking you for your order and asking for your ski club membership details. In other words, it seems you can pay for a card without needing the ski club details but then to actually receive the card you need a ski club membership. Of course, really I know this warning is pointless, as no Snowhead would dream of trying to get a discount to which Ski Club members are entitled without actually being a Ski Club member themself!!!

blizt, Strange. When I applied, I just got an email saying my card would arrive shortly. I am a ski club member though, so they may have automatically got my membership number. I havent received my SnowBall card yet though

the_novice, it seems you are a bit of a novice! Usually one post is enough.
Good to know tho-went to ADH last season and a few in my group had one and it saved us a few quid on drinks in Lounge. Unfortunately the closest I'm getting to snow this year is the Sottish motorway!
