Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Hi

I am trying to book a holiday for myself and 3 other friends. In the recent years we kept going back to Solden. This year we fancy a change. I was thinking of Switzerland, such as Porte du Soleil. However this seems to be more difficult than I thought. It is either that my googling skills faded away, or that there is no availability at a decent price. Can anybody recommend any chalets or tips on searching for it? I forgot to mention that one of us is a teacher and therefore our dates are fixed to 3rd week of Feb, which doesn't help.
Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Dan

iskander, All really depends upon what you consider a 'decent price'. It's not going to be a cheap with your requirement of being there in peak holiday time.
Do you require self Catered, half board etc...?
Please can you give an idea of the budget?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I was comparing it to the last few years when we went at the same time. We do prefer self catered and we usually drive there, so we don't mind if it is not within walking distance to the lifts. As for the budget, we are happy to go a bit higher than the previous years. I think last year we paid £640 for one week's accommodation and the year before about £550.
