Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Help needed with translation (tappeto mobile )

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
How would you describe a "tappeto mobile ".
It's the movable carpet that you find in the young children's area of the ski school area.
It's not an escalator, travelator, etc.

You know the thing.
The kids shufle up to it and just stand there all the way to the top (about 20m)

Please help - need this asap.
Translating the ski schools new website.

Cheers

Wayne, I've seen it referred to as a moving carpet and also as a magic carpet.

When I was in Whistler I think they referred to it as a magic carpet.

Also googled both terms and found images of what you are describing snowHead

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If it wasn't a "Magic Carpet" it is now Madeye-Smiley (being that shedloads of other schools will pinch the stuff for their sites - cheaper than paying someone - so I hope you were right Confused )

Wayne, A colourful, fun site, but on the Home page, in the menu on the left the third item down says 'ALL FOR THE HIDS'. I presume you meant KIDS?

Iski,
Yeah I know, there are a few bits like that.
You know what offices are like.
The Italian is Tutto Bamini (literally "all children") which doesn’t make sense in English.
I did tell em just to put the word "Children" there but.......
Maybe they'll change it, oh well just work there so it's the best type of problem - someone else’s Madeye-Smiley
