Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just noticed it's the Guardian Travel supplement's ski holiday special today - actually some interesting articles included unlike the usual year in year out same old article syndrtome you get with most of the others.
Nice article on a family who had a disasterous first ski holiday and vowed never to go back again but seem to have been persuaded for the purposes of this article (could it be the allure of a freebie holiday I wonder lol). Nice piece on winter sports holidays with a difference in Anatolia Turkey as well as, no mistake, near Istanbul (check out the pic of the Blue Mosque in snow
) as well as alternative (read 60s hippy drop out) Aspen. And, the Guardian not being hidebound to the dinner party "oh daaahlling, spent thisands on the chalet in Klosters/Davos/Wengen" etc. crowd, they even have a nice little piece on the Aviemore bunkhouse and the awesome food available at the next door Old Bridge Inn.
So, for those who aren't too snobby, right-wing and/or have an open enough mind not a bad wee read and certainly a bit diferent to the usual glorified holiday brochures
Bit late in the day I know but there's still time to grab a copy from the local corner shop or whatever...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
