Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone recommend any insurance company that will cover off piste skiing as well as the value of my skis if the get nicked?

Going to Flaine for a week in the new year and would like to get it sorted before the madness of christmas kicks in.

Cheers,
J

try http://www.click4quote.com/ , I get insurance for my son for overseas training and racing , pretty comprehensive cover including helicopter rescue and is competitively priced, I do know that this is 'piste only' but they seem pretty set up for Snowpsorts so I am guessing you can get cover for what ever you need but there will be a premium based upon the assessed risk.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

jammy111, you might find Direct Insurance suits your needs. If your skis are nicked you'll need to go through the local police to report it, of course.

jammy111, I was just reading the thread about Off Piste insurance, you might want to read that before making your mind up. I also read the details on snowcrazy group facebook page in the discussion section. He had some good links and more interesting quotes from Insurance companies and underwriters. Makes me wonder if any of the insurance that is pushed is really worth the money.

The links are here.
