Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Interested in both the challenge and the gillet - seen Codger's and Snowcrazy's and they look cool. Given that my kids call me Dr. Slow I realise that I have no chance to rise up the Hall of Fame in terms of speed. Sounds like a good day out - is there a prescribed route?

Ian Kenvyn, NO and that is half the fun. There are some on here that think they know the quickest route but really depends on conditions, time of day and queues etc. You make your own route. There is however a "prescribed" lunch spot depending on where you start. La Ferme in Villaroger is the place and then Le Forperet just above the village in Montalbert is THE spot in Montalbert.

I am even wondering if Mouth Junior who turns 4 in December will take part this year. Last year he made it as far as Roche de Mio no problems. Just need to persuade his dad that it is a good idea!! Toofy Grin

Ian Kenvyn, how many gilets might you want?

redrunmarcus, like the others say, the red ones do the trick still (although current rate of weight gain means I guess it may need replacing...): but will ask see if MrsW and SmallW need one.
