well I've never owened a pair of 'proper skis', but I did try a pair of Atomic GS D2 in April and they made me smile like never before  .

smithski, Work for Salomon and have a pair of the 182 Powerlines,
Great at high speed super for medium to wide turns on piste and incredibly stable and much easeir at lower speeds than the FIS versions.
PM me I might be tempted to part with them as I have much more fun on 3V'S
