Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Self drive to Europe

Looking to drive to Europe this season rather than doing a package. Don't want to do France and happy to drive to Austria or Italy. We are competent intermediates and like a big mileage resort with good quality hotels, preferably with a spa. Any suggestions. Please?!

Take a look at the Sportwelt Amade region - only about 10 hours from the coast and gives you a huge milage and fantastic cruising country:

http://www.alpendorf.com/ski-resort-st-johann-alpendorf-austria.html

I always stay in St Johann-Alpendorf as I have a lot of friends in the area, but any of the resorts are good. Flachau is the easiest to reach as it is just by the autobahn (A10 Tauernautobahn).

From St Johann you are easily in any of the other resorts in the area either on skis or in your car. Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Zell am See, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Maria Alm, Dienten and Mülbach all within easy reach and fun for days out. And that is just going in one direction by the way! wink
