Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Telemark with short radius skis

Has anyone tried mounting tele bindings to a short radius skis like Atomic SL12 or any ski that has under 15m turning radius? Do you just destroy your knees or is it crazy fun Toofy Grin ? I am planning to buy some Rossignol 9S oversize skis and mounting them with NTN but I would like to know if anyone here has any experience with this kind of setup. I have only seen GS skis with tele bindings in the slopes, not SL skis.

wibzu, welcome to snowheads! snowHead I've seen it a few times, two people that really stick in my mind are your country woman. They both had Fischer RC4s with R8s. They liked it. I'm sure it would be fun if not pretty tiring...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Madeye-Smiley Damn, haven't seen that kind of ladies around here. R8 sounds like little sloppy for a RC4 but maybe it works if really kow what you are doing. Narrowest ski I have teled is 86mm waist Atomic RT86 so it might take time to get used to those narrow and short skis. I would gues that 65-70mm waist skis would need at least 30-40mm of riser plate to avoid sinking the binding to the snow.
