RachelQ, I was thinking along the lines of free skiing off the Aiguille Rouge as a warm-up, followed by a late entry for next week's World Speed Skiing Championships down the Flying Kilometre course?

PG, I ski like that in my dreams!
I remember sitting for hours one year in hot sunshine at the restaurant/bar watching the World speed ski champions come down the Flying Kilometre. I remember getting very sunburnt and quite drunk! Of course, I don't do things like that anymore.
