Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Paul Mason, sadly the company I work pays really well so, even though we treat our staff like Darth Vader treated his employees on the DeathStar, I have to stay.

TallTone, We have 220kms of piste if it's all open (OK it probably won't all be at the very end of the season). If you divide the kms of all the big circusses by the number of towns they service you won't come up with 220 per!!! We have the second biggest off piste domain in France (after Chamonix). We have La Grave next door, complete with liaison. More blacks than the map says (and no easy ones), blues that would be reds in the 3V and most other resorts, + the widest skiable glacier in Europe for guaranteed ski-ing. I've been here 15 years and I'm not bored yet.

I've no wish to be offensive (and obviously I'm biased), but I think anyone bored of the ski-ing here must either a) not be able to ski or b) be bored of life!!! Laughing Laughing

TallTone, in fact. most, nearly all, business environments in Switzerland use English, it's not like most Swiss speak each others language. I'd skip Canada, their working hours and holiday practices are too American and salaries (in my opinion) aren't particularly high, no one's ever offered me enough to make it remotely worth going.

Canadian working practices and holidays are far more relaxed than those of their US neighbours. Salaries are nowhere near so good, but there are cultural and lifestyle benefits, including better social securityand more reasonable health insurance packages

Either Vancouver or Calgary would provide you with the type of job opportunities you're looking for. (Toronto would have even more, but it's not so well situated for the mountains). Vancouver's a more cosmopolitan city than Calgary, and politically more liberal. Calgary has the benefit of oil wealth, and would suit someone who naturally votes Conservative.

Acacia, Interesting about the political landscape of Calgary. Does that mean that any socialist would feel unhappy there? Are they like Texams? Shocked Surely not! If Canada has some sort of social security it must be more civilised than it's neighbour. rolling eyes
