Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skibikers, Welcome to Snowheads, I'm sure the link will be appreciated. I do suspect though that this post will open up up a skibiking debate and I can't imagine it will get much support. Be prepared Smile

Skibikers, Saw them being used last year, they look like great fun! Bit of a pain in the backside on the lifts though.

Welcome to SnowHeads Skibikers, I've tried ski-bikes in Canada and they were good fun. A friend loves them and has a go any chance che gets - she likes the sitting down aspect of snowbikes, but she is a notoriously lazy boarder

Colin B, They have been metioned quite a few times, with little antagonism, so I wonder what makes you say that?

alex_heney, I thought they would prove as popular as skiboards/blades, I'm surprised by the lack of response, although it is quiet at the moment, perhaps I was just wide of the mark. No problem myself tbh, apart from nearly being ploughed down by one last winter Toofy Grin

They look a bit gimmicky but I reckon they could be quite fun for a bit. Definitely not a replacement for skis though. This video certainly makes them look rpetty fun. http://www.pinkbike.com/video/119744/

I think they'd be fun for about 30 seconds. That video does make them look fun though.

Edit: but not in powder.
