Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello

Just to say hello as I have been lurking these boards for a few months now, Have only been skiing since January, went on a holiday / wedding in Lapland to a Ski resort called Yllas, before I went I couldn't see the point in going to the top of a hill to slide down and then go back up again Puzzled . Within an hour of lessons I was totally hooked and picked the whole thing up pretty quickly, and was gutted to leave the slopes, needless to say was away to Mayrhofen 2 months later for more lessons ( those mountains are immense) and learned the parallel skiing, and fell in love with the mogul bits. Summer now seems a bit of a drag to me and I can't wait to get off again next year snowHead . Anyway just thought I should introduce myself and hello again. Very Happy

Yes I went to Glenshee a couple of times between Lapland and Austria, the icey bits were a bit scary, someone said to me if I could Ski Scotland I could Ski anywhere!. My lessons in the Alps really pushed me forward, excellent lessons where the instructor concentrated on control, Lapland was beautiful and the Alps are epic, snow was all powdery in Lapland and there was loads of it.
1. Lapland - stunning wilderness scenery, powdery deep snow, pristine ski hire stuff,Skidus!! and Skiing till 7 at night!
2. Austria, massive ski areas, excellent instruction, sun and more sun, partying all night!
3. Scotland - amazing scenery, icey runs that humbled me and made me kek myself at points, and it's only an hour away from me snowHead
