Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Shimmy Alcott, Did you go?

I was there for the week and overall it was a great success. The event drew big names from across the dance and R&B music industry headlined by Calvin Harris, but also Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Rob Tissera & Pendulum. A lot of the music was R&B but quite a bit of dance and some cheese disco too with Brandon Block's Old Skool Disco.

The main events were held at Surf and El Cau, with a few events such as the Loaded party taking place elsewhere, but the atmosphere in the whole village was excellent with most bars having DJs on their terraces and BBQs going on.

The highlight of the week for me was the party on the mountain on Thursday evening with Pendulum playing, projections directly on to the mountain, and even the piste bashers turned up for a display!

The worst part for me was a couple of bars had their music turned up way too loud during apres ski, but apart from that I really enjoyed the week.

The 2011 event is going to be held March 13th - 20th and it will be officially launched on July 8th.
