Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Feeling happy cos we're off to walk in the mountains at Le Grand Bornand in a few days time. It's nice to walk where you ski in the winter!! Don't care what the weather brings though fine and dry would be nice, just want to be there. Sorry - just felt a need to write this down!!

loatie, snowHead Have a great time. I wish we were off, but we have to be here for a poxy wedding. Am sick of summers being messed up by overblown, overpretentious, weddings that nobody can afford (guests included) and which cause nothing but trouble and strife.

I'm just jealous.... Evil or Very Mad

pam w, O no - i hope it's not as bad as anticipated - O well, the shoreline around Emsworth is a picture at the moment so not such a bad place to be if you're stuck in good old Blighty for the summer! Not long till winter and hopefully we may meet up this time Very Happy

miranda, Thank you so much - that's brilliant. We drove through La Giettaz coming from St Martin de Belleville to Chinaillon in March and it's on our list of places to explore next week with a view to having a days skiing there this coming season. Any info you have would be much appreciated Smile

loatie, La Giettaz is a great place to ski - guaranteed queue-free lifts and empty pistes. I'd definitely recommend starting your day in La Giettaz rather than Combloux or Le Jaillet as you can park you car right next to the lift so no walking in ski boots or ski carrying whatsoever. Also, a pass covering the same area is cheaper if you buy it in La Giettaz because it's a village rather than a resort - 22 Euros a day to ski the La Giettaz-Combloux-Le Jaillet side of Megeve. Drop by if you're passing - we have spare piste maps you can have. Also hoping to see pam w, next season so perhaps we can meet for a local snowHead drink at some point!

loatie, Absoutely - just drop us a line when you know which day to check that we're around. If you're coming from La Clusaz, just head straight over the Col des Aravis and we're on the right hand side as you head down into La Giettaz (which as rjs, points out is exactly what the TdeF riders will be doing on the 13th!). Conversely, if you're coming from the Val d'Arly direction, we're on the left hand side as you come up and through La Giettaz village.
