Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whistler in late december/early january?

Hi

Thinking about booking the annual holiday to Whistler, as we've been going to Obertauern the past few years and fancy a change.

Just wondering if anyone has skiied in the past during this time period.. we usually set off around the 27th or 28th (although with the apocolypto dust cloud we might set off a few days earlier to allow for rowing across the pond)

I've skied there but only during February so opinions would be apreciated, would be nice to get out to Whistler again as I've not been there in a while, but I expect the off piste will be limited compared to when I've been before... probably have a day or two cat skiing in Revelstoke depending on finances. Or if the snows good we'll stay in whistler.

Looks like a good season so far if this gets booked snowHead ..kicking horse later in the month then possibly Japan in the February half term and somewhere in easter.. can't wait snowHead snowHead

Thanks

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

This season just past Whistler had 560cm in November and the off piste skiing was fantastic long before the 1st of December and stayed that way all season.

Every year is different ......

Xmas -> New Years can be lean snow wise, but is always busy crowds wise. I don't know how the dates fall for next year , but if you are here the week, or preferably 2 weeks after the Xmas/NY week, then no problems.

Pretty sure Christmas is the 25th December this year (12/25) and New Year is 1st January (01/01). Wink

milnerhome, save your cat skiing for KH. KH->Revelstoke is more doable than Whistler->Revelstoke.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You are so clever!!!

Now if only you bothered to actually help the conversation by looking up if they are in the same week (sun -> sat) or not.
