Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

transfer share Tignes december 2010

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

I have booked on the su mountain ski and boot camp for Dec 2010, but they only have 2 spaces on the transfer fron genva to the resort. And yep, you guessed it, there are 3 of us. They can fit us all in on the transfer back.

So I am after a cheap way of getting one person from Geneva airport to Tignes on 6th dec

Any ideas?

Cheers

On a more serious note..... BensBus is planning a Tignes / Val D'Isere service next season and their one-way price this season for the three valleys was around £35 so could be a good option - although not sure when their 'season' will start

we used BensBus (www.bensbus.co.uk) for 3V this year; service was good and comfortable, but they only finalised schedules quite late. they are response to emails though.

It might be worth checking out coolbus - www.thecoolbus.co.uk - they are one of the cheapest private transfer companies and have a forum where you can meet up with other groups.

Alternatively altibus do a regular bus service to Bourg Sainte Maurice where you can change for Tignes. It's also possible by train but requires a few changes!

Hope that helps?

Altibus! I'd second that.

I've done it twice. It's easy and cheap. You can get the bus right from Geneva airport.

If I remember rightly you're not left on your own to fend for yourself at Borg St Maurice either. The Altibus ticket goes all the way to Tignes and they tell you /put you on the right coach change, at Borg for the last leg.

The Altibus counter/ticket desk is almost facing you when you come through "Arrivals" at Geneva airport.

Any other recommendations for a GVA - Tignes Les Boisses transfer? There's now 3 of us for this Wednesday 8th and we're trying to avoid a 4.5 hour wait for the scheduled Altibus at €60 Euro per head one way. Shocked
