I'm amongst a plethora of BASI members descending on Hintertux this weekend for a course, because of the Volcano we have had to make last minute change of plans and now driving ...taking 3 others with me but could really do with a roof box to help, so if anyone in or around Sheffield could loan me one you'd have 4 very happy (potential) instructors ! thanks

just a side issue, All ferrys and Euro tunnel are booked up until tuesday at the earliest i heard, does your car float?

well that is crap, just gone to eurotunnel and can get on any time you want tomorrow...prices are up a bit on normal but all available

If you go up North for the Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry I got a used-once roof box (of about 1.8m long), couple of roof bars to fit various cars and 2 sets of ski clamps free to collect.
The roof box can be fitted with one set of ski clamps if you have a car with two longitdinal bars already.

saikee, thanks, but were already booked on one of those fully booked Dover ferries. There's now only 3 of us due to a 5th person joining the party, so using 2 cars now and everything will fit inside.
