Poster: A snowHead

Got back on Sunday from Tignes les Brevieres, went with Alpine Tracks stayed in Chalet Bluetree 2, price included transfers from Geneva, flew with Swiss so no charge for ski's and 20KG allowance each which we could combine.
The chalet was modern clean, food excellent three courses plus a cheese after dinner, and wine and when the chalet host went off they made sure they left us a bottle of white and red to keep us going.
The also do ski hire from the chalet £10 per day including boots, various Rossi's are available they have women specific ones as well, and a ski tech on site, which was better than the ski shop that is Intersport, Twinner, Sports 2000 its the same shop, there is also Ski Republic.
Cant remember all the places we eat one was Bagus in Tignes Le Lac, they have a set menu pizza or similar with a drink €13.90, don't do what one of our group did and order extra chips a bowl was €6.00, we also found a place in Lavache that did a steak sandwich and a drink for €10.00 its right on the road, its a the end of the Digues green.
Weather went form sunny to white out during the week we had a dump on Friday and more overnight on Sunday, skiing on Saturday was awesome, as a full on piste I can comment on the off piste only to say I saw a spectacular avalanche, hadn't realised how much noise they make.
On Saturday we hit the Folie Douce, nearly had to dig out the ski's after being there for 40 minutes, nothing much happening as it was snowing.
I would question some of the grading, the top of the Fresse green was like a mogul field and steep hate to have been up there on my first skiing holiday.
Vincents in Tignes Le B is the spot for a bit of apre

Eyes popped out at the prices. We were in Val Cenis last week and it cost Ice Tea €2.80, Soup of the day €8.00, Croque Monsieur €4.00, Steak Hache and Frites €10.00, Omelette, Frite and Salad €10.00, PDJ €13. I thought that was expensive enough!
