Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

snowboarding tuition for a 12-year old in Flaine for a day or two...

...is my only option to get private tuition, or is it likely that there will be any kind of group stuff going on around Sat 17th/Sun 18th April? Emails to ESF or is there better out there?

I decided against group tuition for 2 teens next week in GM. ESF could only offer 3pm to 5.15 by which time the snow will be shot.

Other ski schools would not take them as they didn't have the same ability level as other groups they were running.
We went for 3 x 2 hours for €120.00 each with 360 Ecole international (not sure if they do lessons in Flaine though)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Would be tempted to avoid ESF in Flaine, but that comment is based on their skiing tuition in Jan with ourselves and our 2 girls 11 and 12

carled - definitely try the ESI ski school in Flaine Foret - much better than ESF - see if you can book a private lesson with Bruno - great with kids.
Given your dates, you may be able to get some group lessons as well - should be quiet by then.

ESI have responded (Virginie) saying that some French parents have asked for snowboard lessons for three days from 10-12am for their 11 and 8 year old daughters and that mine can join in with them. Sounds like it could be ideal. Thanks for the tip guys.
