Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

THE FIRST ONLINE SEARCH FOR A UK WILDCARD BEGINS…

THE search is on for the UK’s wildcard entry into The North Face® Ski Challenge Final, an event dedicated to showcasing the talents of young skiers in both freeride and frestyle, in Val Thorens, France.

The North Face® Ski Challenge, open to all European residents, aged 12-20, has already seen almost 30 entries go through to the grand final, where our UK wild card will compete for the coveted prize.

Successful skiers at the final, will receive loads of cool prizes including The North Face® gear along with the glory of being crowned The North Face® Ski Challenge Champion for their category.

This year, working with the British Universities Snowsports Council, Brits, aged 19-20 can compete ONLINE to secure a place at the final, following the launch of a new category for older skiiers to compete in.

Male skiers aged 19 – 20 can now enter in the Emperors category, whilst Female entrants will compete in the Queens division.

The successful wild card winners will receive free accommodation and travel to the final, for two, on 25th March to 30th March 2010.

To enter, British skiers need to upload a video of themselves performing to a social media site and send the link through to thenorthfaceskichallenge@brazenpr.com. A selection of the best virals will be uploaded to The North Face® Ski Challenge YouTube channel, before The North Face® officials and JP Baralo, event organiser and creator, will make a final selection for the UK Wildcard.

Deadline for entries is midnight on 17th March 2010.

Quentin Tchakhotine, BUSC Chairman said, “The UK has some exceptionally talented young freeriders and freeskiiers, it is great to see events like The North Face® Ski Challenge create opportunities for Brits to showcase their talent. I am confident that our UK wildcard will provide extra competition to some of the European competitors.”

The North Face® Ski Challenge 2008 winner, Tom Oliver Hedvall from Sweden, won a two-year sponsorship contract with The North Face® which helped move his career to a new level. Tom has since been featured in the FreeRadicals "618" DVD and been on many The North Face® photo shoots including possible selection for Fall 2010 ADV campaign.
