Is parking still free at the BSM / Les Arcs funicular carpark ?
And ........ is parking at La Granges still free if Bourg is charging ?

jph123, at the funi it is free, most other places in town is limited, either you have to pay at a meter or in some car parks you get 2 hours but you should check. At the funi you are supposed to move your car every 24hrs but i do not know if this is checked. Never heard of anyone having a problem.

Hi, Just adding to the end of this thread, I'm going dow to Les Arc this weekend. Driving down and without opening a huge debate about snowchains (yes, I know they are mandatory in France) Can I reach the funicular car park at Bourg without chains? Realistically its not that high and it is March?? Does anybody know that area really well. Many thanks, Boyd

Boyd, If there is a huge snowstorm you may need chains to get to Bourg but in March that would be very unusual

parking at funiculaire is still free, they have in fact removed the barrier stuff at the entrance to the parking
wouldnt think chains would be needed this late in the season
