Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi there
I just came back from legendary Fernie, Canada. Didn't get much snow though. Thankfully I'm now in Glasgow and apparently the snow is falling in massive amounts on the mountains closeby. So I thought i might as well take the bus and go crazy in the powder in Glencoe Mountain Resort. Thing is I'm not from Scotland (I'm from Denmark) so I don't have anyone to ski with. So if anyone is headed for any Scottish mountain and wouldn't mind me tagging along for ripping some lines in the pow, i would be very happy. I'll be leaving for the mountains either sunday or monday and will be staying for a few days, depending on the snowconditions, as it seems to be now I don't thinking I'll be wanting to go home Smile. I'm 26 and an experienced skier, have skied since i was a kid and have spent a season in France, skiing powder. So let's go! NehNeh

chrisskytte, book yourself in to the hotel at Crianlarach and jump on a train from Glasgow Queen street on Saturday night. Pretty sure the hotel is running a free shuttle to and from Glencoe each day... something worth checking out if you can catch a lift.

chrisskytte, welcome to snowheads. Can't help with ski buddy for scotland, but I had similar experience with the legendary fernie powder a few seasons back. Came back to europe (engelberg) and had the best powder ever, you might even say "legendary".

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

chrisskytte, If you go to Crainlarich the hotel arv, is talking about is 100m on the left.

They do run a free bus, however, if you miss it, I'm sure if you stand with the thumb out and a pair of skis then someoen will give you a lift.

Sorry I cant make it. Next time I can go is in 2 weeks

cheers
