Lindsey Vonn plans to race in the women's slalom with a modified glove after suffering a dislocated finger in the giant slalom.
"I was able to modify one of my gloves and make a brace for my right hand," she wrote on Facebook.
"It seemed to work without too much pain, so I will try and race on Friday."
Germany's Maria Riesch , Austria's Kathrin Zettel and France's Sandrine Aubert Sandrine Aubert are favourites, although Sweden's Anja Paerson cannot be ruled out as the defending champion.

DAB, I cannot guess. Slalom is not my thing, I need 100yards on a red piste to throw two turns together  It amazes me that these guys can turn that tight and quickly.

Great race, very exciting - our girl was 5th - good, but a little disappointing considering she'd won 2 races out of 6 this year. You couldn't expect much from chemmy - slalom is not her thing, even though she did very well in the slalom leg of the super combined. How could people not find this exciting to watch?
