What is this resort like in terms of prices, etc and how close is it to the 3 valleys? Any info would be appreciated.

jb1970, price about the same as everywhere else actually IN the 3V, not very close compared to other resorts actually IN the 3V, and I for those reasons I wouldn't bother staying there if you paid me to. Plenty of just-as-cheap options on the snowline. Otherwise, as descibed above and by Homphomp, it's perfectly ok as far as it goes.

it's a 20min gondola ride to meribel. I'm off to Brides-les-baines for skiing in Meribel on the 7th April!!!

I love Brides but not for skiing- it's got a casino and I was bored before the snow came back in November so I drove down there for a play on the one armed bandits.
Invested 50 Euros and walked out 1200 euro's richer!!!! I don't intend going back coz they say lady luck only visits once!!

Not this time. We do 3V in February from a flat in Mottaret. My son and I are going to Val d'Isere on Saturday. It's only a couple of valleys away and the weather isn't much different.
