I seem to recall that GS is Ed Drake's favoured even so fingers crossed he gets a decent result, I might just crack a beer and settle down to watch it if it's on't telly

Believe Cuche is favorite. I'd like Walchhofer to win as he will probably retire soon and it'd be good to go out on a high although if an Austrian gets the Gold it's more likely to be Scheiber. Bode, Svindal, Raich and Janko are all contenders for a medal. The two Canadians - Guay and Osbourne might perform well in front of a home crowd.

It's got the potential to be another cracking race. I'm with you DB, I'd like to see Walchofer to do well, and he's certainly got a good chance after good showings at Val d and Kitz, two other tough courses.

I think Ed has a good top-30 chance today (dare I say maybe even a top-25?). I think Super-G is more a favoured event than the downhill and he finished above his bib number in that.
For the medals, we really hope Bode gets it; failing that, Cuche. As for Raich....dunno, there's just something about him I can't take to.

With a really good run Ed should get a top 25. Super G is definately his best event (not GS nbt!) He is world ranked No 46 in Super G and No 33 for the race. So with a couple of DNF's and others making mistakes who knows?
My money on Cuche, with Kostelic as an outside bet. I would love to see Patrik Jaerbyn get a medal. At 40-years-old he is showing all us GOM's how to do it!
