Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is there public transport from Morzine to Chatel? (carrying too much to ski it!)

Hi guys

I've managed to crash two different ski holidays! woop woop!

But i'm having trouble working out how to get from one to the other (Morzine - Chatel) without going all the way back to Geneva! Any body got any ideas? I haven't been able to find any info on public transport. If i was travelling light i would take a rucksack and ski accross, but unfortunately that isn't the case!

Any help would be appreciated!

There's a public bus from Morzine Gare Routiere to Thonon SNCF, then you can get another one to Chatel - you can see the timetables & buy tickets in advance here: http://www.altibus.com (as 2 separate bookings). Only a few buses each day, more on Saturdays - eg for tomorrow, if you get the 10:30 from Morzine, arrive Thonon 11:20, bus to Chatel leaves 12:00, arrives at 13:00 & costs 22€ pp.

http://www.acces-taxi.com/ shows 65€ for the direct trip by taxi.

Cheers
Alex
