CEM, altis, Will pass the info on. May be possible to make an appointment ski over, get the boots fitted, then ski back. Well at least in theory it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

altis, Following some consultations with the guys who are looking for boots they're happy to make a trip of it over to Meribel to get their new boots. Thanks guys.

Have a friend heading out in a weeks time and needs new boots. Is freeride.fr still the place to go as it seems they have two shops, skimium / precision ski ones on their website.
Is this the right place to go?
Thanks!

silvia0723, No Freeride no longer exist. What spyderjon says, goto the Boot Lab in Courch 1650

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Thanks ! Anyone in Meribel itself you would recommend ?
Otherwise it would mean skiing over to Courcheval but he would have to rent boots to do that

silvia0723, No, at the moment there is no-one in Méribel I could recommend

The Boot Lab are opening a new shop in Meribel this year in addition to their store in 1650 so easily reachable from anywhere in the Three Valleys

If you want somewhere in Val Thorens, I got 2 pairs of boots fitted and tweaked by Gerard (owner) and Armand in Zenith ski shop. They really know their stuff.

Thanks for the update of this oldish thread. I'll be in Val T in early Jan and always like to have a good bootfitter recommendation - just in case. Looking forward to checking out the new zip wire ride.
