Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

In a continuing bid to try lesser known resorts and after some subtle pimping on here by a certain lady snowhead, we had a plan for a 3 day short break to Bisanne.

The accomodation was miles from the slopes..........

The lift system meant you had to walk up slopes....

but with the reward of a good sized off piste bowl to drop into...

but it was plagued with snowsnakes...

and if they didn't get you there were small cliffs and ice falls to worry about

The pistes were packed with people....

in fact, as far as you could see it was heaving...

and to cap it all off the views were rubbish

kitenski, fantastic pictures! We are off to Bisanne in less than a fortnight now and I'm getting very excited. Don't suppose it will be uncrowded as in your photos.... Still, can't escape half term until A levels etc are over.

polo99, yes, to get access into one area there is approx a 5 min easy bootpack then a pole/skate along a ridge, you could get to the same place by skiing down into the valley and back up without having to walk....

kitenski, thanks, I've been looking at the webcams out that way and thought it looked good. Did you do Les Prés? I've heard it's fun but not always open.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Les Pres was open but you need to time it to pick up a bus to get you back to the lifts, I'm not a big fan of hanging around in the cold for an off peak bus, so we gave it a miss....
