Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

THE pefect Powder day

Poster: A snowHead
This is one that has to be shared.

Living in Bansko we get to snowboard quite regularly and enjoy it every time but, on Wednesday 'WOW' after 2 days of heavy new snowfall we took to the slopes with one of our guests and had what can only be described as the best day ever. WIth at least 75cms fresh ungroomed snow the pistes were fantastic, a giant playground that had to have every inch explored. The off piste through the trees was even better (if you can believe it can get any better). Wiping out wasnt an option as in most places you were surfing at least thigh deep in fresh untouched cotton wool like powder. Its the kind of day that every skier/ boarder dreams of and happens not often enough. The only down side to the day was that the lifts closed at 5pm !!!!!!!!!

We had one of these perfect powder days (the only one ever) last year in soldeu, on arrival day the snow was pretty thin and icy in the morning, slush in the afternoon. Not the best conditions you could say. Woke up the second morning to see almost 3 foot of new snow. We were skiing waist deep all morning (for the first time) it was truely an amazing experience! One i'll probably never experience again........
