Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Passo Tonale - Ski & Board Hire

Hi

Can anyone recommend any decent ski-hire shops in Passo Tonale.

I'm after some skis, and, more importantly the girlfriend wants to hire a board for a week. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to hire some decent skis somwhere in resort, but its usually more of a lottery for the boards.

Any recomendations (with a website link if possible?!) greatfully received.

When we went with Neilson they use the hire shop right next to the Sport Hotel Vittoria which is directly across the road from the slopes. The entrance to the shop is down some stairs to the right of the hotel. They have a big flag thing advertising the shop. They were really helpful and there's a room there where you can leave your skis overnight for free. They had boards for hire too. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the shop but there aren't that many in PT anyway! Look on www.adamelloski.com, click on the English flag at the top and you can have a look at webcams and find a photo of the hotel with the flag outside it. We really enjoyed PT, hope you do too.
