Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Port du Soleil - Where to stay

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Everyone.

I have a four day trip planned for 20th Feb (have got flights and time off work) and am looking at resorts close to Geneva. I was looking at Chamonix but Port Du Soleil is starting to come up on a few searches and it looks like it has a good lot of skiing with various resorts interlinked.

So my question is where to stay in this area ? Has anyone been before and could they recommend a good resort / area within the Port du Soleil ski area ? I can do the transfer to the resort from Geneva via car or transfer if that makes a difference. There will be 6 of us going so also looking for a hotel or similar that might have availability or be open to less than a week breaks (perhaps a last minute chalet I could book for a week but leave on the Wednesday).

Appreciate any advice.

(also appreciate recommendations of other good resorts less than 90 mins from Geneva and with 100k plus of slopes !)

Thanks again.

Welcome to snowHeads cooperboy

Morzine is a good place to base yourself and, as halfhand says, DallyPaul who is on the board and also SnowAndTrek will probably be able to help with accommodation. To send them a message hit "Send/Read Messages" in the top right hand corner of the screen.
