Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Car Hire 3000

Another car hire question - anybody used Car Hire 3000 to book cars out of the Swiss side of Geneva airport?
If so, which actual car hire firms do they use?
Do they definitely come with the Swiss vignette?
Any other comments on your experience? Customer service, waiting time at desk, closeness of car park, etc.
I usually hire cars directly with Avis from the French side but the Car hire 3000 deals are currently significantly cheaper

Just used CH3000 out of Zurich - they are just the handling agent so the hire was actually with Budget (Avis), and significantly cheaper than booking direct. We'd booked a medium-ish Peugeot something or other, but when the girl at the desk saw our luggage/skis she upgraded us to an Astra Estate at no cost.

I checked the details of the actual hire company at the time of booking (made the booking by phone) to make sure we weren't getting an offsite hire, so thoroughly recommend them.

Vignette etc will be down to the actual car-hire company, but almost certain that the swiss-side will have them

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Agree with the affirmation of CH3000; used them 4 times this year out of Geneva - they have been faultless, and usually the hire is with either Avis or Hertz (at a much lower rate). They appear to be a Manchester-base company called JigSaw Car Hire ! Double-bubble being that out of Swiss-side cars come with snow tires and chains in the boot - no extra charge.
Nothing negative to say. Using them again at Easter. Hope this helps. snowHead
