Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whistler lift passes

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I need two for a month.

Annoyingly, I've looked at ski passes on the website and they don't do one for a month, it's "15 for 18 days" ie you have to ski 15 times in 18 days frpom the date you but the pass.

I can't find one for a month.

Are there any experienced buyers out there who can offer some advice?

When i was there last year for about 6 weeks, I bought (i think) an 18 day pass(ish). Every day I used over this limit was charged at a slightly reduced rate (edge card discount)

It saved me money in the end, plus you get the same benefits of having a season pass: shop discount, mountain food discount, being able to pay using your ski pass (linked to credit card). Its the card a lot of canadians buy if they only ski weekends etc, but through the whole season.

Also I bought when I got there. There was no saving buying from the website (for me anyway)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

A season pass may be you best but at about $1500-1600. We had an edge card a few years ago caused no end of problems with the credit card. The card kept being frozen as the extra days where flaged a "customer not present " transactions and as there where 2 /day. So day one ok day 2 not, we got the card reset and next day same problem.......
We are trying out the edge card once more we are in Whistler this week lets see if the credit card still works by the end of the week I will let you know.

You used to be able to get a 15 day season pass (can be any 15 days in the season) - then the rest of the days over that are charged at edge card rates (this year 70ish per day vs 90ish per day). With Season passes and 15 day passes I always got earlybird ones so that worked out most economic. Can't remeber where the breakeven point is for a season pass with regard to number of days but you can find the pricing on the WB website.
Season pass is more economical than an edge card and gives better discounts, besides you can only get an edge card if you are a Canadian or Washington state resident
