Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Marker 7.0 binding - could use some advice on the spot.

Hi all, as you know we away with some new skis for the kids - K2 Juvy's. We had a couple of problems with the bindings (Marker 7.0) on these today. They attach to the skis by sliding into place and clipping into mountings that are integral to the structure to the ski, similar to a rail

During the course of the day (on both sets of skis the heel bindings) we found that the heel binding had moved approx 5mm backwards, enough to allow premature release of the skis and to present a possible problem of ski loss on a lift. These had been apparently solid and able to withstand a significant amount of pressure (forward and backwards) as is the case now. The front binding def. isn't moving due to the locking mechanism that it uses. We know Spyderjon is away, but wondered if anyone else out there was familiar with these bindings and had maybe experienced the same problem.

Advice would be welcome, or does anyone have a recommendation for a ski service centre in Arc 1800 that might be able to give them a once over - taking them back to place of purchase (S&R Manchester) tomorrow clearly isn't an option!!

Well, we didn't have a repeat of yesterdays issues. Me re-seating the heel attachment must have cured it. We'll continue to keep a watch just in case.
