Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sad isn't it, any other country in Europe only gets problems when they get more than about 3 ft of snow, here we need just 2 inches Puzzled

WTFH,thats just the thing for PG,given his current circumstance wink

Sad is being far too generous DGO,its bloody pathetic. We are on school alert here(Midlands)We have had a 'serious' letter from our local school detailing their 'emergency' plan in view of the 'severe arctic conditions' sweeping the country Shocked We are to listen to the local radio, which will broadcast closures every morning for the duration of the current 'severe' weather. We are not to attempt the journey in the event of a broadcast. They seem to have overlooked Search and Rescue teams, probes and transceivers and emergency rations but, given that we may have another 1/2 inch in the next few days,I'm sure they're considering it rolling eyes wink Is it any wonder so many kids cant be asked to get up off their ar$e$ when,at the slightest excuse, teacher blags a day off.

D G Orf, indeed, in 18 years of Toronto I can only remember 1 day off of school due to snow, when we had an unbelievable snowstorm that dumped around 5 feet overnight.

Wear The Fox Hat, have you seen the price? It's about 20 full days' work at minimum wage! Reckon I'll hire someone to clear the drive if the stuff ever sticks for longer than a few hours! Or better still, give the kids some extra pocket money. snowHead
