not sure if this is in the right place but here goes.
anyone got any advice on parking and cost for Heathrow.
Looking at staying over the night before we travel at a travel inn etc and needs somewhere we can park up for 10 days.
Anyone got advice on either hotels or parking ?
thanks

It's about £8 a day if you pre-book.

There are cheap and convenient parking places along the Bath Road.
Do not use the Southall outfits - too far away if there are traffic problems.

Spyderman,
Any particular place for pre-book?
Thanks

rob and sharon, Premier Inn on Bath Road, you'll need to book parking seperately at Quality parking but it's right next door.

Holidayextras secret hotel deal (you dont find out which hotel it is till you've booked but can cancel within a couple of days of booking) got us the Park Inn just on the perimeter road, the airport bus stop just over the road from it is inside the free bus zone and hotel with a weeks parking came out cheaper than just parking.

I booked from a link from BA, Flew T5, ParkingPlus I think, only 5 mins from Terminal. BAA website should let you compare all of the parking prices. Booking ahead is critical.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

rob and sharon,Book a room at a hotel in Brentford, I think there's a Travel Lodge There are about three or four of that type all new. Drive to Hanwell Station London W7 about 10 mins. Park car nearbye don't leave any valuables on show and get heathrow train.

I used purple parking - cheaper by a long way than any of the hotel room+parking deals. Exceptionally secure. Recommended.

Note that T1,2,3 are at the Northern side of the airport (a4, bath road). T4 is on the Southern Perimeter road and T5 near the Western Side. No issue if the middle of the night but at peak times can take a while to get (by car) from one side of the airport to the other. If you're booking parking then make sure it's nearish the right Terminal
Enjoy the trip.

I've used Purple Parking before and they were very good - regular shuttle service to the airport, and only had to wait about 5 minutes when we arrived back.
