Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK my snowHead friend on facebook has just informed me that there is now a parking charge at the funiculaire to Les Arcs. Seeing as I am parking there in about 10 hours please can someone let me know how much? Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It is always free in Bourg you do not have to have a lift pass to park in Funi car park even if that is what they tell you.

Didn't we cover this for last season and a charge of 1 euro a day for parking was mentioned...also here..

Mouth, I would have thought a seasoned Paradiskier like you would have known to drive up to Peisey-Vallandry where it's free, there's loads of parking come this time of year and yer straight onto the lifts. Either go to Vallandry and park near the bar mont blanc / grizzly lift and onto the piste or drive past the squirrel and take the slight left down slope, you might well find parking. Continue walking 20 yds get skis on. If no places then go straight on and park near the hotel vanoise - piste is just the other side of the hotel from the car parking.

15 minutes from the bottom of either lift to 1800..

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

bertie bassett, As I have already said, Very Happy it is free Very Happy to park at the Funi in Bourg. Your report for last year is starting to get out of date in some areas now. It was in fact free all last season as well, they just tried to make people pay but failed French style. it was all very funny Twisted Evil
