Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Arcs - Lift Pass Options

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

Off to Les Arcs in a few weeks. Have a few beginners going that are trying to keep the costs down so was thinking that the "ski-points" system might be best for them, making the most of the free lifts. I found some information on lesarcs.net but can't find any prices anywhere. Can anyone help ? Was also looking at prices just for Arc1600 but can't find these either.

Cheers

Alfie, Details here, but the best you will do is a half day pass.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Alfie, I think its fair to say that not all lift pass options are listed on the website, there is a 4 hour pass for 35 euros, half day about 40 euros for Les Arcs. I don't think there is a 1600 only pass though

Thanks for your replies. Anyone else heard of this, taken from the lesarcs.net website :

"Ski Points: a relatively recent introduction to the Les Arcs lift pass portfolio, the ski points system enables beginners to use the main lift in each of the following ski areas:
Arc 1600: Combettes Chair
Arc 1800: Chantel Chair
Arc 2000: St. Jacques Chair
You can charge up your ski card with 2, 10 or 20 points at a time and each chairlift journey costs 2 points"

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
